Cupcake

Cupcake was confiscated by animal control on an abandoned
property. She is a tiny little thing, only around 5 pounds,
  There is not a sweeter
dog in the world.........her tail wags constantly & she wags it so hard, she smacks herself in the butt.
If there is an available lap, she is on it!  Cupcake had
a rough start with us & ended up having an emergency c-section because she had retained way too much fluid.  Sadly, none of her babies survived, but Cupcake is doing well & is ready for a home
to call her own.  Cupcake is around 5 years old.

Maddie

Sweet Maddie is finished with her mommy duties (she was an awesome
mommy), now she is looking for a home to call her own.  Loving, energetic, and playful, Maddie can go for a jog or just as happily settle down for a nice cuddling session.  She has a happy personality & loves everyone she meets.  She is selective in the dogs she likes, & would probably do better with males.  Kitty cats are a bit too much of a
curiosity for her.  She is good with kids!

This itty bitty little girl is only around 3 pounds at 5 years old.
She is teeny tiny!  She has a super outgoing, friendly personality &
loves everyone she meets.  She is just about the friendliest, happiest
Chihuahua we have ever met.  She gets along great with other
dogs & kitty cats!

Lolo

Foster home needed!

Lolo is a 1 year old, 15 pound Poodle-Wanna-Be.  She is a sweet
little lady who gets along great with other dogs & loves all kinds
of people.  She would do well in a home where she isn't alone for
long periods of time.  Lola currently has a summer cut, but her
curls will grow back & spring to life.

Lily

Lily is a 1 year old, 10 pound, Maltese-Terrier mix with
a very calm personality.  She enjoys being around other dogs,
but adores hanging out indoors with a lap to sit on.  She is a
very sweet little girl who is going to make a lovely companion
pet for someone who wants a new best friend!

Rosie

Rosie has had a rough time, but now her misery is over &
she is looking for a home to call her own.  Rosie came to
us pregnant & gave birth prematurely to 2 tiny babies on May 3rd, but
both were born with severe cleft palates & neither survived.
Rosie is a bit sad & confused right now, but she is in great
health & we expect her to recover quickly.  She is a real sweetheart,
loveable, energetic, and playful. 
 

Hershey

Hershey is a 2 year old, 22 pound adorable mix, although we
can't quite figure out a mix of what.  She has pretty milk chocolate fur & golden-green eyes!  She's a loveable little girl
who gets along good with other dogs.

Odessa

Odessa is a young gal who has had a rough life, yet she
is very forgiving.  She came to us extremely thin & dirty,
yet not at all scared or bitter.  She loves life, and anything &
everything it has to offer, whether it be human hugs, feline fun,
or canine companionship.  She is a great little gal who is
going to make a wonderful pet for a lucky family.

Tulip

Tulip is a cute little lady who needs a home to call her own
now that her babies have been adopted.  Only a year old,
Tulip is a young girl who enjoys life & everything it has
to offer.  She is what we call a non-effort dog.......she has
no issues with anything.  Great with other dogs, cats, older kids, etc.
Tulip is around 12 pounds.

Champ

Champ is a 1 year old, 25 pound tossed salad.  We aren't real
sure what all is in his DNA, but he has the cutest face & ears.
Champ has had a rough life & is learning that people can actually
be nice & loving.  He loves other dogs & is fine with cats.
Champ would do best in a quiet home without a lot of ruckus.

Toby is an adorable little 13 pound Shih-Poo, mainly Poo, with a sweet personality and happy disposition.  He gets along good with other dogs & really likes kitty cats!  He's energetic & playful, but
not at all barky.

April

April is a 6 month old Shepherd-Rottie mix.  She is a happy, playful girl, and gets along well with other dogs.  She loves to snuggle on the couch.  April walks well on leash and knows how to sit, and will
no doubt excel if further obedience training!

Charlie

This little boy really pulled at our heartstrings.
Dumped in the shelter, matted to the bone, Charlie
SHOULD have long flowing hair, but it had to be shaved.
Charlie is about 5 years old & appears to be a Lhasa Apso - Basset mix, with crystal clear blue eyes.........a very unusual
combination.  He is also hearing impaired, which means
he WON'T be barking at every single noise like some dogs do.
Charlie is very low-keyed & mellow, a perfect companion pet.
Charlie is what we refer to as bomb-proof........nothing
bothers him!
He is around 35 pounds.

This little 3 yr old Chihuahua mix has found herself in the cold
shelter, very scared & very pregnant.  At some point in
her life, this little girl has been extremely abused, but now that
she has been rescued & is in a foster home, she is
starting to come out of her shell & realize there
are nice people in this world who love & care about
her.  She gave birth on November 1st to 2 darling baby
girls.  Both have been adopted & now Jade is looking for
a home to call her own.  She's a real lover, gets along
fabulous with other dogs & kitty cats!  She is very
submissive & sweet.

This little girl has a sad story.  Her family was moving, so
they gave her away to someone else in the family.  As soon as
her babies were born, they dumped her in the shelter, just
tossed away.  We scooped them up & now they are in
a wonderful foster home.  Phoebe will never have
to worry about being abandoned ever again!
She is good with all dogs & likes to (try) to play with
cats.  She would make a wonderful companion pet
for a quiet home.

Giggles

Arrived January 10th

This tiny little lady has a horrible story.  She was
brought into the shelter on January 9th by her actual owner who said they had too many dogs.  She was dumped in this deplorable condition, in active labor!  She gave birth right in the receiving area of the shelter!  As soon as we got them out, our volunteer managed to get an emergency grooming appointment where this sweet little girl was stripped & bathed, then quickly reunited with her tiny babies.
Both of Giggles babies have been adopted, so she is ready for
her own forever home.  Giggles is a tiny, but long-legged gal, who
would love to have her own family & a yard to play in.  Another
playful dog would be great also!

Ellie

Ellie is a precious little 3 month old Sheltie mixed with something
equally as cute! She is a little spitfire, with an outgoing, playful
personality. She loves people & other dogs, and doesn't
care if they are big or small.  She is a very happy little girl
who thinks life is one big party!

Lita's Lollipops

Arrived March 6th

Lita is another dog that could be the poster gal for spay-neuter laws.
Brought into the shelter with her 5 newborn babies, mommy was in
extremely bad shape, boiling with both an internal & breast infection.
Her heartless owners must have decided that it was easier to
dump everyone instead of getting the proper medical care.
Mama Lita's medical issues were treated & she has been adopted into a wonderful home, now it's time for her babies to be adopted!

Marilyn and the Movie Stars!

in one of our foster homes.  Marilyn is a 13 pound Terri-Poo.

Shadow is a 1 year old, 12 pound Doxie-Spaniel-Pomeranian-
and "few other things" mix.  She is a very laidback, mellow
little girl who loves to cuddle on laps.  Shadow gets along
good with other dogs & has lovely house manners.

Lola is a sweet little Chihuahua mix who found herself fully
pregnant & abandoned in the scary shelter.  We got her out &
she gave birth to 5 babies on April 12th in a warm, comfy foster
home.  All of her babies are doing well & Lola is taking good
care of them.

Tessa & Tori

arrived April 24th

We got a call from the shelter saying a mommy & one newborn
baby just arrived, and mommy was in very bad shape.  We didn't realize how bad until we rushed to get her.  This sweet little lady was
extremely tick infested........she was covered from head to toe, in her ears, ticks were even hooked to her nipples.  Her foster mommy spent
hours cleaning & tick-picking!  Both mommy & baby girl are now resting comfortably in a warm, safe environment.

We got a call from a volunteer at a shelter we normally don't
rescue from, but once we saw a photo of this mommy-to-be
in an outdoor concrete run with not even a blanket to sit on,
we simply couldn't say no.  She is now safe & sound,
and awaiting the arrival of the stork.
